Cropani: ancient medieval centre placed in a charming position, from which it enjoys Gulf Squillace and Ionic Sea’s beautiful view. The village, founded before year 1000 and destroyed by the Turks in century XVI, presents in the origin church (Collegiata dell'Assunta-Duomo) a real architectural jewel characterized by a magnificent portal fitted with a lobate-wheel rose-window and inside such a great value and interesting. Besides it will be possible to visit artisan workshops devoted to the embroidering and the wrought iron-working.(km 7)
