Le Castella: characteristic sea village well-known for its Aragonese castle, placed on an islet joined to the main-land by a thin strip of land. From here it starts the sea reserve of Capo Rizzuto Island which offers, to sea-watching’s lovers, the view of a vast grass-land of posidonias and ancient wrecks in addition to the countless fishing species.(km 20)

Santa Severina: ancient centre of Crotonese marquisate, placed in a panoramic position, above the valley of Creto river. The town is of medieval extraction, its descents date back to the 500 B.C. when it was known with the name of Siberene. Proper to its location it was dominated by many populations; Arabs, Byzantines, Normans, Swabians and Angevins. It is famous for its stronghold, dating back to Byzantine period and it was rebuilt by Normans in XII century, it was recently restored.(km 40)
