Cropani: ancient medieval centre placed in a charming position, from which it enjoys Gulf Squillace and Ionic Sea’s beautiful view. The village, founded before year 1000 and destroyed by the Turks in century XVI, presents in the origin church (Collegiata dell'Assunta-Duomo) a real architectural jewel characterized by a magnificent portal fitted with a lobate-wheel rose-window and inside such a great value and interesting. Santa Severina: ancient centre of Crotonese marquisate, placed in a panoramic position, above the valley of Creto river. The town is of medieval extraction, its descents date back to the 500 B.C. when it was known with the name of Siberene. Proper to its location it was dominated by many populations; Arabs, Byzantines, Normans, Swabians and Angevins. It is famous for its stronghold, dating back to Byzantine period and it was rebuilt by Normans in XII century, it was recently restored.(km 40) |

Protected Sea Area "Capo Rizzuto": an expanse of sea that stretches for over 13.500 hectares, a place where the millenary history hovers among the landscape beauties and the sunk surroundings: this is the Protected Sea Area Capo Rizzuto’s heritage. A foreshortening sea in Mediterranean Sea that is characteristic of a particular rocky coast which conservs the intact mediterranean stain dominated by a thick pine-wood with mastic trees, thyme, crystalline grass, myrtle, capers, tamarisk, broom and juniper. But they are the depths above all that make the protected sea area a singular ambient: the immense posidonias grass-land, the white bream, groupers, barracudas, little tunas and sometimes dolphins. The Administrator Board has some inviting services at visitors’ disposal: races on transparent bottom boat, guided immersions, possibility to spend all day together professional fishermen in place and to practise tourism-fish by means of authorized fishing-vessels.(km 20) |  |

Valli Cupe: Valley Cupe and Mount Raga territories are placed in the mediterranean ionic belt between 300 and 500 mt. on sea level in Sersale. Valley Cupe reserves to the excursionist a splendid landscape characterized by very high reddish faces in which they are excavated characteristic clefts dilated by birds, also predatories, that choose this undisturbed place to nest. Many faces, hide the entrance to a marvellous canyon. Canyon, with its falls and tortuous faces, that tend to meet up the top, obscure the sky making an ideal habitat for protected and rare animal and vegetable species.(km 15) |  |

Roccelletta of Borgia’s “Scolacium” Park: it presents evidence of Magna-Greece like the forum, the basilicas, the religious buildings , the theatre and a largely interred amphitheatre. Adjacent to the area it can find the ruins of Saint Maria of Roccelletta’s basilica, of Norman descent, a time the biggest church of Calabria.(km 40) |

Capo Colonna: the most eastern tip of Calabria. Placed on a promontory vertically on the sea, it preserves a Doric column, the only proof of a Greek temple dedicated to Hera Lacinia, sanctuary of Gulf Taranto’s Italiots. To the beginnings the columns were 48 and it seems they are survived until 1500.(km 30) |

National Sila’s Park: Sila is a marvellou upland plain and it has singular characteristics that makes it "different" from the rest of mountains. Since March 2001 this immense upland plain is to a large extent defended by "National Sila’s Park". Forests that are lost to sight, fragrant pine-woods, old chestnut-tree full of fruits, variegated alder and beech trees stains and, finally, the magnificent silver fir, precious figure of a mysterious and fascinating microcosm. Numerous tarns, crystalline springs, noisy rills break up the splendid solitude of forests inhabited by the numerous animal and floral species. A natural casket that Calabria keeps.(km 50) |  |

Taverna: important centre of catanzarese presila, immersed in the green, whose descents date back to the mythical Greek city "Trischise" today famous thanks to its most distinguished citizen: the painter Mattia Preti, knight of Malta. The little village presents a precious artistic-cultural heritage , united to Mattia Preti and his less famous brother Gregorio’s work. Their paintings are today preserved in Saint Barbara and Saint Domenico’s marvellous churches and in the civic museum.(km 60) |  |
